About Extract Pages

Extracting pages from a PDF is useful when you only need part of a longer document — pull out the chapter you actually care about, save just the invoice from a multi-page bundle, or share a single section without sending the whole file. pdfmundo's Extract Pages tool shows every page as a thumbnail. Click the pages you want; the new PDF contains only those pages, in their original order. Page quality is preserved — no recompression, no font changes, no quality loss. Unlike most online PDF tools, pdfmundo does all the work in your browser. Your PDF never travels to a server, never gets stored, and never leaves your device.

Frequently asked questions

How does the page picker work?
Drop a PDF, then click the thumbnails of the pages you want to keep. Selected pages get a checkmark. The new PDF contains only those pages, in their original order.
Can I extract a range of pages?
Use the Select all button, then click pages you don't want to deselect them. Or click only the pages you want — both approaches work.
Will the page order change?
No. The new PDF preserves the original page order. If you select pages 5, 1, and 8, the output PDF will contain pages 1, 5, 8 in that order.
Is the page quality preserved?
Yes. The page contents are copied directly into the new PDF without recompression — text, images, and embedded fonts are unchanged.
What's the maximum file size?
50 MB on the free tier. Larger files (up to 200 MB) are supported on Pro.
Why doesn't a thumbnail load for one of my pages?
Some PDFs use unusual fonts or graphics that don't render in thumbnails. The page can still be selected and extracted normally — only the preview is missing.
Do I need an account?
No. The tool is completely free to use without signing up.
