About PDF merging
Merging PDFs combines multiple separate documents into a single file. This is useful for sending one consolidated document instead of several attachments, archiving related files together, or assembling chapters into a complete report. pdfmundo's merge tool reads each PDF, copies all pages from each in the order you specify, and writes a new combined PDF. The merge is lossless — no quality is lost from any input file. Unlike most online merge tools, pdfmundo does all the work in your browser. Your files never travel to a server, never get stored, and never leave your device. This makes it safe for sensitive documents like contracts, medical records, or financial statements that you'd never want to upload.
Merge PDF without uploading — your files never leave your device
Unlike most online tools, merging your PDFs happens entirely in your browser. The file is never uploaded to a server, never stored, and never leaves your device — so contracts, financial records, and other sensitive documents stay private.
Frequently asked questions
- Does this upload my files?
- No. Nothing is uploaded — merging your PDFs runs entirely in your browser, so your file never reaches a server and never leaves your device. We can't see it because we never receive it.
- How many PDFs can I merge at once?
- Between 2 and 20 PDFs. The combined size must be 100 MB or less. Each individual file must be 25 MB or less.
- Can I reorder the files before merging?
- Yes. After adding files, use the up and down arrows next to each file to change the order. The merged PDF follows the order you set.
- Are my files safe?
- Yes. Files are processed entirely in your browser. They never get uploaded, never get stored, and never leave your device. We can't see your files — we don't have access to them.
- Will the merged PDF lose quality?
- No. Merging is lossless. Pages are copied byte-for-byte from each input PDF. The output retains the same fonts, images, and formatting as the originals.
- Do I need an account?
- No. The tool is completely free to use without signing up.
